23rd June Sinead on Dave Fanning Show 2FM.
4th June 2012 – Sinead ran in the Flora Women’s mini-marathon in Dublin in aid of ChildVision, the National Resource Centre for Blind Children. Sinead’s time was 55mins 07 seconds. She came 2nd in the visually impaired category. A good achievement considering Sinead had only started training 1st week of April 2012.

29th May 2012 – Sinead went to London to Snaresbrook Crown Court to meet a judge who is totally blind.

20th March 2012 – Sinead gave a talk to St. Mary’s Secondary School, Macroom, Co.Cork on the topic of: ‘Resilience and Coping with Adversity.’ Sinead spoke to the students during their ‘Health is Wealth’ week.
8th March 2012 – On women’s international day Sinead gave a talk for EMC in Cork on the topic of: ‘Overcoming obstacles.’

In the middle of February Sinead gave a talk to Pfizer Pharmaceuticals Drug Product Plant – Employee Wellbeing Programme on the topic of: ‘Resilence in the face of change.’

Sinead commences a mediation course in Cork with RoundTable Talks to become an accrediated mediator. The course is approved and accredited by the Mediators’ Institute of Ireland (the MII) which is the professional association for Mediators in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
