Both the women's and men's teams are strong and so hopefully we will finish high up the leaderboard.
Ultra running is a popular sport worldwide and is growing every year in Ireland. Being selected is a huge honour.
I will be the only athlete with a visual impairment at the event and using guide runners.
Many barriers exist when competing in able-bodied sport and slowly I'm trying to break them.
Competing against able-bodied athletes is tough but I like to challenge myself.
After the European championships in September, I will recover and then set off on my 250Km Sahara Desert run in October.
