October 2014 - 1st marathon - time 4.01 - Dublin marathon.

Reason for running first Marathon - to raise money for Childline. At the time I had been volunteering for ISPCC Childline for 6 yrs.

When I stood on the startline my intention was to only do this one marathon and to have it ticked off my bucket list.

At the finish line I agreed to try an Ultra Marathon.

Since then I have moved my career more away from the legal field instead focused on running and travelling.

Fast forward 10 yrs

When I stood on the start line of the Dublin Marathon 2014 I never considered myself a runner. I was just someone out there trying her best to do what she could for charity.

When I crossed the finish line of the Dublin Marathon 2024 and was told my time I finally started to believe in myself and my goal to run sub 3.

It can happen if I continue to train smart and be patient. It may take years, who knows, but I am going to enjoy the process rather than focus too much on the outcome. Along the way I will need guide runners to help me run races and help me train so if you want to guide or train with me, then let me know.

Who wants to come on this journey with me to see what happens 🙂

Whether you’re just starting out, ready to go after a PB, seeking to improve your form/speed, or are anywhere in between, Coach John and Sinead are here to help.
