Also many thanks to the organisers, volunteers, and supporters.

These events simply don’t happen without you. The energy out there makes all the difference.

Coming from an ultra-running background, I’m still learning how to get faster over the shorter distances. Consistency in training, nutrition, and recovery is starting to show.

The past 3–4 years I have endured many injuries which has meant I couldn't do proper sessions as it would bring on flare ups. Thankfully, the past few months of steady, uninterrupted work have made all the difference.

More to come 🤞

You will notice in pic 3 that my time is 1.31.33. But my actual time is 1.33.35. When a race organiser let's visually impaired athletes off

2 mins early those 2 mins get added on at the end. The purpose of the headstart is to minimise risk for all athletes.

All the pushing and shoving at the start can be very dangerous and risky for athletes with disabilities.

Not all race organisers give the head start. I have been in situations in the past where at the start it can be very frightening all the pushing. I am grateful when race organisers allow visually impaired athletes go ahead. I think it safer for everyone.

Thanks to everyone who shouted my name on the course. I am grateful. It means alot. You dont realise how much. Thank you.

Onto the next one 🙂 The journey continues.🙂
