✅️ Moneystown National School 4 mile fundraising Road Race.

When I was asked by Louis Byrne to attend as special guest to the Moneystown National School 4 mile fundraising Road Race I had to say yes given all the help Louis has given me as a guide runner. Also Ann's cooking is so good I knew I would be well fed.

Had a very enjoyable evening the night before savouring Ann's food followed by a delicious omelette for breakfast. We then went off to the race. Louis and all the team had everything well organised and so while waiting for the start it was nice to mingle with the School Principal Ann-Marie and staff of Moneystown NS. Also chatted to parents and most importantly kids.

Amazing turn out, sunny skies and warm welcomes. Simon Harris started us all off with a ring of the School bell and off went 250 smiling humans.

It was over in a blink and after crossing the finish line we went into the warmth of the school hall where delicious refreshments were served.

Presentations were given to top 3 men and women followed by the raffle.

A great day. Highly recommend this event for next year.
