Sinead was never involved in sport as a child. Yet, in her adults years has managed to run 7 marathons on 7 continents in less than 7 days. She has also represented Ireland on the Women's team at the 24hour World Championship. These successes are due to the guidance and support which her run coach and guide runner, John O'Regan has given her.
John is a certified coach and he looks after the coaching side whilst Sinead supports with mental strength and resilience.
With over 20 years of coaching experience, John has created plans that have helped thousands achieve their goals of running distances from 5K to Marathon. Over the years he has created plans for The Connemarathon, Run in the Dark 5K / 10K and many more.
As well as being a coach John is also an accomplished runner and was previously a member of the Runner's World Pacing Team.
He has represented Ireland on 10 occasions at World & European Championships at 100K, Ultra Trail and the time based 24-hour race.
He has also completed a Marathon or Ultra Marathon on every Continent at least twice including as many extremes as possible with a few wins along the way. This includes the most northern, most southern, the hottest, the coldest, the highest and lowest races in the world plus a Marathon at the North Pole. In 2017 he ran a marathon on each of the seven continents in less than seven days.
